Cologne tests plug-in hybrids from Ford in city traffic

Together with Ford, the city of Cologne wants to test ten plug-in hybrid vehicles. The project aims to investigate the extent to which hybrid drives can contribute to achieving the city's clean air targets. To this end, ten Ford Transits with plug-in hybrid drives will be used by municipal companies in urban traffic from spring 2019.

ELVIS wants to research driver shortage

The European Association of International Freight Forwarders (ELVIS) wants to tackle the driver shortage with scientific support. To this end, the association and the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Stuttgart conducted a survey of around 1,000 truck drivers.
