Hannover Messe 2024 opened its doors on Monday and we are out and about in the exhibition halls with our camera. Our impressions from the first three days of the fair.

On the second day of the trade fair, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Robert Habeck made his traditional visit to Hannover Messe. First, he discussed the joint energy policy with Norway's Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Aasland at the North Sea Energy Hub. He then went on a tour of the exhibition halls. The route included Pepperl+Fuchs, Bosch Rexroth, Lapp and Harting. In the afternoon, he focused on innovative start-ups.

Olaf Scholz opened Hannover Messe 2024 on Sunday evening in the presence of the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. The Hermes Award, which this year went to Schunk, was also presented at this event. On Monday, Gahr Støre opened the Norway pavilion at the Hannover Messe and took a tour of the trade fair's innovations.

materialfluss, INDUSTRIAL Production and KUNSTSTOFF MAGAZIN held a joint awards ceremony to honor the winners of the Products of the Year 2024 competition. On February 21, Deutsche Messe held a press event to prepare for the upcoming event from April 22 to 26. This year's guest country is Norway, which wants to become Germany's partner in green energy.

How will robotics and intelligent automation change the future? At Automatica 2023, around 650 exhibitors from 35 countries will present their solutions to the major focus topics: "Digitalization and AI", "Sustainable Production" and "The Future of Work". There was once again a lot to discover in the halls of the Hannover Messe this year: around 4,000 exhibitors presented new developments and solutions relating to digitalization, automation and sustainable technologies. Around 130,000 visitors from all over the world came to get up close and personal with robots in the aisles, immerse themselves in virtual reality or find out about technological solutions for climate-neutral production.

Whether cars, bicycles, drones, robots or simply coffee carts: a wide variety of vehicles were on the road at Hannover Messe 2023. We have collected a few of them in this picture gallery.

The corridors of the Hannover Messe are once again bustling with activity, visitors, exhibitors and robots are out and about or playing soccer, hydrogen-powered buses are driving around the exhibition grounds and the sun is shining on the exhibition grounds. Hannover Messe 2023 was officially opened on Sunday evening in the presence of German Chancellor Scholz and Indonesian President Joko Widodo. The Hermes Award, which this year went to Bosch Rexroth, was also presented at this event. On Monday, Scholz and Widodo opened the Indonesia pavilion at the Hannover Messe and took a tour of the trade fair.

For the fourth time, materialfluss is exclusively publishing the ranking of the top-selling system integrators. This time, the ranking includes 28 companies and has a new leader: After Jungheinrich's victories in 2019 and 2020, Jungheinrich has taken its place in the sun for the third time in the 2022 ranking. Last year's winner Daifuku is in second place, and Dematic is once again strong in third place.

The IFOY organization has announced the finalists for the IFOY AWARD 2023. 23 intralogistics providers from seven countries with 25 devices and solutions made it to the final, including seven start-ups.
