From September 25 to 27, the Fachpack trade fair turned Nuremberg into the capital of packaging and packaging technology - with short distances inside, good weather outside and lots of exciting innovations. In 2018, Fachpack was once again what LogiMAT used to be: a perfect working trade fair. materialfluss shows products and exhibition stands.
Every two years in June, Munich becomes the marketplace for automated production with Automatica. The focus is on industrial and service robotics, assembly systems, industrial image processing systems and components. Users from all sectors of industry gather information and knowledge about automated production. We were out and about in the exhibition halls and captured some impressions for you.

About the Hannover Messe 2018 with the Chancellor (20 images)
The traditional tour by German Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the Hannover Messe industrial show to visitors on April 23. Together with Mexico's President Enrique Peña Nieto and his wife Angélica Rivera from this year's partner country of the trade fair, the Chancellor informed herself about the industrial technology of tomorrow. Logimat exceeds expectations (25 images)
Full aisles, fully booked exhibition halls: With 55,300 trade visitors (+10.2%) over the three days of the trade fair, 1,564 international exhibitors (+13%) and double-digit growth rates in gross (+14.6%) and net exhibition space (+16.7%), Logimat 2018 once again ended with record figures. This means that the intralogistics trade fair has increased its visitor numbers by well over 50% in the three-year period from 2015 to 2018. We were out and about in Stuttgart and collected some impressions.

Plagiarius negative award - brazen counterfeits 2018 (31 images)
On February 9, 2018, the "Plagiarius" negative prize was awarded for the 42nd time as part of the Ambiente consumer goods fair. The "Schmäh-Preis" was created by designer Prof. Rido Busse and is awarded by Aktion Plagiarius e.V. to manufacturers and retailers of particularly brazen plagiarisms and counterfeits. The aim of the association is to raise public awareness of the unfair and sometimes criminal business practices of product and brand pirates from all over the world in order to sensitize industry, politics and consumers to the problem. 34th German Logistics Congress of the BVL (26 images)
The 34th German Logistics Congress of the German Logistics Association (BVL) in Berlin was held under the motto "Think new - live digital". From 25 to 27 October, the focus was on strategies for digitalization as well as current topics ranging from the diesel debate to the Marshall Plan with Africa. Personalities from the worlds of business, science and politics gave insights into their areas of work and ideas. We have compiled pictures from the annual meeting of logistics experts and supply chain managers from industry, retail, logistics services and logistics science.

New old winners at the 13th StaplerCup (33 images)
From September 14 to 16, 2017, forklift drivers met again on the Schlossplatz in Aschaffenburg to compete for the title of best forklift driver in four disciplines. The three-day final of the Stapler Cup, the forklift truck driving championships, takes place every year in mid-September on Aschaffenburg's Schlossplatz. On the third day of the StaplerCup competition, the weather gods were kind: The sun shone brightly from an immaculate blue sky at the start of the German Individual Championships. Out of over 2,000 participants, 63 male and one female driver had qualified for the final of the German Championship in forklift driving. The German Championship for female forklift drivers was held at the same time, with the best twelve women from 25 regional championships competing. On a course modeled on everyday working life in operational and warehouse logistics, everyone had to complete tricky tasks with the forklift truck in the best time and, above all, in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

Record numbers: Logimat 2017 was bursting at the seams (26 images)
The 15th Logimat has come to an end with record figures. More exhibitors than ever before, maximum space occupancy at the Stuttgart exhibition center and a rush of visitors from more than 50,000 logistics experts. This was naturally noticeable at the stands and in the aisles. Sometimes it was difficult to get to the exhibits, as here at Viastore. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was very good and of course we were there too - camera always at the ready.
