Negative Plagiarius Award - Brazen Counterfeits 2018

On February 9, 2018, the "Plagiarius" negative prize was awarded for the 42nd time as part of the Ambiente consumer goods fair. The "Schmäh-Preis" was created by designer Prof. Rido Busse and is awarded by Aktion Plagiarius e.V. to manufacturers and retailers of particularly brazen plagiarisms and counterfeits. The aim of the association is to raise public awareness of the unfair and sometimes criminal business practices of product and brand pirates from all over the world in order to sensitize industry, politics and consumers to the problem.
