Intelligent intralogistics from the modular system

The mk Technology Group is expanding its intralogistics portfolio with the new RBF 2000 roller conveyor system. The fully modular system combines flexible conveyor technology with intelligent control architecture and is suitable for transport, buffering and sorting tasks in internal material flows.

With the RBF 2000, the mk Technology Group has introduced a new roller conveyor system for intralogistics. The system is based on a modular design principle and enables the transport, buffering, sorting, infeed and outfeed of containers and cartons weighing up to 55 kilograms.

The portfolio includes conveyor lines with motorized rollers or geared motors, gravity roller conveyors, driven curves and various function modules for transfers, branching and positioning tasks. Thanks to standardized components and integrated sensors, individual conveyor solutions can be implemented quickly and adapted as required.

A central feature is zero pressure accumulation conveying (ZPA). The conveyor section is divided into individual zones that communicate with each other decentrally. This ensures that only one material is conveyed in each zone. For larger systems, mk relies on a hybrid control architecture in which a higher-level PLC coordinates the system sequence, while the ZPA logic is processed decentrally.

The equipment includes concealed cable guides, integrated light barriers, rollers that can be changed without tools, gripper protection systems and flexibly adjustable side guides. The conveyor technology is based on the existing mk profile system and can be seamlessly combined with belt, toothed belt and chain conveyors as well as workpiece carrier systems.
