Heinz Ennen succeeds Winnie Ahrens, who took over the management of the company at the turn of the year. Ennen brings with him more than 30 years of experience in intralogistics. The electrical engineering graduate is moving from Swisslog, where he was most recently responsible for the strategic development and support of top global customers as Vice President Global Key Account Management.
In his new role at Kardex Mlog, Ennen will concentrate on expanding the project business, particularly in the areas of new installations and modernization. One focus will be on raising the level of expertise in light goods conveying technology and robotics to the same level as the long-established expertise in pallet storage and conveying technology.
"I'm looking forward to working with different departments and the opportunity to set new impulses together with a highly motivated team. The first few weeks have shown me how strongly the culture of trust, cooperation and mutual appreciation is anchored here," says Ennen.
The move to Kardex appealed to him primarily because of the corporate culture. Kardex is "a company with a strong culture, clear values and an impressive customer focus". Ennen also emphasizes: "The overall responsibility for sales and implementation is particularly appealing to me, as this is the only way to ensure sustainable project success."
