Mega investment: New MegaHub Lehrte launches

After two years of construction and a trial run lasting several months, DB Board Member for Infrastructure Ronald Pofalla, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure Enak Ferlemann and Lower Saxony's Transport Minister Dr. Bernd Althusmann officially opened the MegaHub Lehrte container terminal on 23 June. materialfluss shows the 171-million-euro freight terminal.

The finalists for this year's Ifoy Award have been announced. In the eighth round of the award, the jury has selected 17 devices and solutions from 16 manufacturers from a field of 32 applicants to compete for the best intralogistics products and solutions of the year. All finalists will first go through the international Ifoy Test Days from February 6 to 13 at the exhibition grounds of Ifoy partner Hannover Messe. The trophies will then be awarded in seven categories during the Ifoy Award Night on April 20 at the Hannover Messe 2020. We present the 2020 finalists in this picture gallery.
