New old winners at the 13th StaplerCup
From September 14 to 16, 2017, forklift drivers met again on Aschaffenburg's Schlossplatz to compete for the title of best forklift driver in four disciplines. The three-day final of the Stapler Cup, the forklift truck driving championships, takes place every year in mid-September on Aschaffenburg's Schlossplatz. On the third day of the StaplerCup competition, the weather gods were kind: The sun shone brightly from an immaculate blue sky at the start of the German Individual Championships. Out of over 2,000 participants, 63 male and one female driver had qualified for the final of the German Championship in forklift driving. The German Championship for female forklift drivers was held at the same time, with the best twelve women from 25 regional championships competing. On a course modeled on everyday working life in operational and warehouse logistics, everyone had to complete tricky tasks with the forklift truck in the best time and, above all, in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
