Setting the course
Krone Group expands Management Board
Due to the strong growth of the Krone Group, Ole Klose (56, pictured) was appointed as an additional member of the Management Board with effect from April 1.
With this decision, the Supervisory Board under the leadership of Bernard Krone is strengthening the future-proof structures and the company's successful course to date. In addition to the Management Board members Dr. David Frink (CEO) and Dr. Stefan Binnewies (COO), Ole Klose (CFO) has been a member of the Krone Holding Executive Board since October 2019 and is responsible for numerous activities in other areas of the company such as rental, financing and the trading division.
With the expansion of the Management Board to three members, an organizational adjustment of the areas of responsibility will also be implemented. The bundling of financial activities and the HR department in Ole Klose's area of responsibility allows for a focus within the Management Board. Dr. Stefan Binnewies will increasingly focus on strategic purchasing processes and supplier management against the backdrop of tense global procurement markets. He will also continue to be responsible for all activities in the Krone Group's commercial vehicle division. The strongly process-oriented departments of a strategic nature in the areas of digitalization and investments will in future be managed directly by the Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. David Frink. He will continue to be responsible for the business area of the internationally active agricultural machinery division on the Executive Board.
"By expanding the Management Board, we are consolidating the future viability of our Group's activities in a wide range of areas. As a family-owned company, we are thus continuing to focus on continuous innovation, outstanding products and healthy financial strength," says Bernard Krone, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Krone Group.
