Garbe Industrial Real Estate concludes rental agreement in Niedersachsenpark Rieste

Garbe Industrial Real Estate GmbH is letting its last available space in Niedersachsenpark Rieste, around 30 kilometers north of Osnabrück, to a provider of logistics services. The renting company intends to use an 11,500 square meter hall there to store and handle components for the process chain of an automobile manufacturer.

"With this letting, we have achieved full occupancy at the Rieste site," says a delighted Philipp Petersen, Regional Manager Hamburg at Garbe. "It shows once again that an excellent location, combined with high-quality project development, are reliable guarantees for successful letting."

The new tenant is moving into half of a new logistics building in Rieste, which comprises around 9,500 square meters of hall space, 1,500 square meters of mezzanine space and around 500 square meters for offices and social rooms. The other half of the 23,000 square meter logistics property is already being used by Schletter Solar GmbH, a manufacturer of assembly systems for photovoltaic systems. There are 19 parking spaces for cars and five for trucks for the new tenant on the outside area.

Like the other two logistics halls, the new building was constructed in accordance with the latest sustainability standards. For example, photovoltaic systems have been installed on the roofs to generate renewable energy. Garbe Industrial Real Estate is aiming for certification in accordance with the Gold Standard of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) for all three buildings.
