Standard for permanent industrial halls
Losberger De Boer has developed a new industrial hall - induflex, a lightweight hall that meets all the requirements of a permanent building and at the same time aims to impress with its flexibility.
"When developing the hall, our aim was not to integrate as many technical features as possible, but to map those features that generate the greatest customer benefit. We always focus on the needs and wishes of our customers," says Christopher Ohler, Sales Director at Losberger De Boer.
The standard version of the induflex hall can bear a snow load of up to 131 kg per square meter on the ground, which corresponds to 105 kg of snow per square meter of roof load. The structural design of the hall is Eurocode-compliant and therefore meets the strictest building regulations for permanent buildings within the EU. At the customer's request, the hall can be adapted and further reinforced so that the roof can bear a snow load of up to 350 kg per square meter.
As strong winds and storms are becoming increasingly common on the European mainland, safety and durability are of the utmost importance when it comes to industrial buildings. The standard version of the new industrial hall can therefore withstand wind speeds of 25 m per second. Additional customizations can be made to further strengthen the hall to withstand wind speeds of 30 meters per second and more.
The Eurocodes contain the basic European standards for structural design within the European Union. These standards were created to demonstrate compliance with mechanical strength, stability and safety requirements, to provide a basis for construction and engineering contract specifications and to provide the EU with a framework for the creation of uniform technical specifications for construction products (CE marking). The new induflex hall is 100% compliant with the Eurocodes, giving customers the assurance that their building is both safe and durable and meets the highest legal standards in terms of building and occupational safety. This also means that the induflex can be built in all EU countries, as the Eurocodes with their strict standard specifications also cover many requirements outside Europe and are also recognized in most export countries outside the EU.
One of Losberger De Boer's latest innovations is the new height compensation function. This feature, exclusive to Losberger De Boer, ensures that your industrial building is always leveled - even on uneven ground. Height differences of up to 30 cm can be compensated for, saving time and investment when preparing the building site. This new height compensation function thus contributes to the short construction time of the induflex hall. "Occupational safety should always have top priority," says Christopher Ohler. This is why the new industrial hall was equipped with connection points for a fall protection system. This fall protection system serves as a safety net during construction and maintenance work. This function ensures the safety of employees whenever they are working on the roof.
The new industrial hall from Losberger De Boer is available in various sizes and configurations. The structure is easily scalable so that you can react quickly to market developments as well as production or delivery peaks. If requirements change, the industrial hall can be adapted within a few days.
"We have already been able to implement several projects with the induflex hall and the positive feedback from our customers has absolutely convinced us that we have started another successful chapter in Losberger De Boer's innovative product history with the new industrial hall," says Christopher Ohler.
