Logivest advises Düsseldorf nut roasting plant in Krefeld
On February 1, 2020, ZAD, a roasting company and food retailer, rents a warehouse of around 1,000 square meters in the Sirius Business Park Krefeld-Fichtenhain.
In addition to parking spaces at the property, the tenant has around 70 square meters of office and social space at its disposal. The landlord of the property is Sirius Facilities GmbH; Logivest acted as an advisor and broker in the search for a location.
Important hub: Duisburg-Lower Rhine logistics region
In the new production facility, the company will roast nuts and kernels for a muesli manufacturer. The Sirius Business Park Krefeld-Fichtenhain is located in the Duisburg-Lower Rhine logistics region. This fulfills a central function as a hub for the global movement of goods as well as for the regional supply of the Rhineland.
"The new tenant benefits from the central location of the business park and the very well-developed infrastructure for processing its orders and importing and exporting foodstuffs. The property is directly connected to the A44, and surrounding cities such as Duisburg and Düsseldorf are also easy to reach via the Meerbusch junction, which is only a few minutes' drive away," says Laura Brand, Junior Logistics Real Estate Consultant at Logivest North Rhine-Westphalia, explaining the advantages of the location.
