70,000 sqm of rental space nationwide
Intaurus sells coreport portfolio for 71 million euros
The investor intaurus has sold a logistics real estate portfolio with three buildings to an institutional investor. The contracting parties reached an agreement in mid-August.
The portfolio includes two recently commissioned logistics centers in Leipzig and Reichertshofen (near Ingolstadt) as well as an existing building in Leipzig. Properties with a total rental area of approx. 70,000 square meters and a total site area of approx. 155,000 square meters are being transferred to the buyer for 71 million euros. The two new buildings in Leipzig and Reichertshofen are fully let and belong to the "coreports", a label launched by intaurus that stands for a modern understanding of industrial design and state-of-the-art technical equipment.
BMW and thyssenkrupp are among the tenants
The tenants of the sold portfolio include well-known names such as BMW and thyssenkrupp. "Even close to the car city of Ingolstadt, we were able to come up with a good mix of sectors in our logistics center. Tenants include the logistics service provider SCA, the beauty distributor New Flag and an automotive service provider," explains Hans-Wolfgang Niedermair, founder and Managing Director of intaurus. The deal was brokered by real estate consultancy Realogis, while commercial law firms Glock Liphart Probst (seller) and Hogan Lovells (buyer) provided the contracting parties with legal expertise.
