Garbe acquires new distribution center in the Netherlands

Garbe Industrial Real Estate, a specialist in logistics and industrial real estate, has acquired a new distribution center from LIS Logistics in the Dutch city of Almere as part of an institutional mandate.

The distribution center will be built on the Stichtse Kant Business Park in Almere. The seller is the Dutch construction consortium Hercuton/Remco Ruimtebouw, which recently started construction. The new distribution center is scheduled for completion in the 2nd quarter of 2021. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The new building project has a total area of around 34,000 square meters, of which LIS Logistics B.V. rents the majority. LIS Logistics is a company that provides a wide range of logistics services.
The Dutch logistics company has been based in Almere since 2007, where it previously operated from several locations. In future, LIS Logistics will bundle its activities in the new distribution center.
