500-E transporter for start-up

Major order for Streetscooter

StreetScooter, a provider of electrically powered commercial vehicles, has received another major order for its e-transporters. The start-up UZE Mobility is buying 500 Work and Work L models from the Deutsche Post subsidiary. They are to be used as zero-emission car-sharing vehicles in selected major cities.

Competition: Sustainable urban logistics

Deliver quietly at night

The "GeNaLog" research project was recognized as one of the winning projects in the "Sustainable Urban Logistics" competition by Federal Environment Minister Svenja Schulze. The basic idea of the project is to shift some of the delivery traffic to the night and off-peak hours in order to reduce emissions.

The logistics service provider Rhenus will take over the shares of the freight forwarder Nellen & Quack at the beginning of January, subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. Rhenus would like to strengthen its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia through the acquisition.
