German fashion supplier relies on technology from psb

psb intralogistics realizes a fully automated, 16-aisle high-bay warehouse for hanging garments with a capacity of around two million garments for the fashion company Gerry Weber. The German fashion group is building a new, 93-meter-long and 25-meter-high reserve and picking warehouse in Halle/Westphalia

for hanging garments. The core of the system is the fully automated high-bay warehouse for hanging garments, with a capacity of 80,000 storage rods, i.e. around two million garments in double-deep storage. The 16-aisle racking system is loaded and unloaded by psb runloader storage and retrieval machines, each equipped with two load handling devices. Even goods with non-uniform hanging lengths can be stored well.
