Schmalz presents FXCB area gripper for collaborative robots

Schmalz presents solutions for the packaging, food and pharmaceutical industries at FachPack © J. Schmalz

Schmalz will be exhibiting solutions for the packaging, food and pharmaceutical industries at FachPack. These include manual as well as automated systems, such as the FXCB area gripper for collaborative robots.

With flexible foam as a gripping surface, it can hold cardboard packaging or boxes weighing up to eight kilograms, among other things. Schmalz will also be exhibiting a modular system for modular vacuum end effectors (VEE). The user can combine components using software. For palletizing and depalletizing entire product layers, the company will be presenting the SPZ-M layer gripping system. Visitors will also learn all about the FXP and FMP vacuum area gripping systems. The operator can automatically palletize, depalletize and pick packaging made of different materials with different geometries using just one gripper. In addition to grippers, Schmalz will also be presenting components such as the intelligent "i" products, including the VSi vacuum and pressure switch. Hall 3 , Stand 141
