5,000-square-meter deal
Segro leases to CSafe at Amsterdam Airport
Segro has leased 5,000 square meters of warehouse and logistics space at its Segro Park Amsterdam Airport (SPAA) to CSafe, a leading provider of temperature-controlled packaging for the safe transportation of pharmaceutical products. CSAFE intends to use the new branch as a European service center for the Benelux region.
The space that has now been leased is located in the second construction phase of the SPAA, which was completed at the end of 2018 and was awarded BREEAM Excellent status. Two of the six units have already been let to DHL and one to API Netherlands. Two units have now been let to CSafe. This means that there are currently just under 2,000 square meters of completed space available in the SPAA. The SPAA is to be further expanded in 2019, and construction has already begun on two new distribution centers with a total of 20,000 square metres. CBRE, JLL and Stibbe advised CSafe on the letting.
