7,600 square meters of logistics space
In Hecklingen, a small town in the Harz foreland south of Magdeburg, Logivest has leased a warehouse measuring around 7,600 square meters to the logistics service provider Samsung SDS.
The property, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the B 180 highway, will serve as additional storage space for the logistics service provider. The shipping congestion in Asia and the change in demand due to the current economic situation have led to a sharp increase in storage requirements, which Samsung SDS is meeting with the new lease.
Just under 30 minutes by car from Magdeburg and with easy access to the A36 highway, Logivest was able to find the logistics service provider a suitable property at Harzstraße 3 in Hecklingen for immediate occupation. The warehouse has a photovoltaic system on the roof and is accessed via six ground-level gates.
"The logistics property is located in the Harz foreland, a region that has seen strong development in recent years. The proximity to growth regions such as Magdeburg, the location in the middle of Europe and, last but not least, the availability of space, increase the region's attractiveness for logistics," says Sven Setzekorn, Consultant Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest in Magdeburg.
