Still stands up for bee colonies

As part of its environmental management, Still supports a sustainable project in the Hamburg area: together with the BEEsharing initiative, the company is campaigning against bee mortality and thus for the protection of nature and species in the region.

Sponsorship for four bee colonies
BEEsharing is a network for beekeepers, farmers and bee enthusiasts and offers companies their own bee sponsorships. Still took on such a sponsorship for four bee colonies, which are now located on the roof of the headquarters building in Hamburg. "We are convinced that the successful future of our company is inextricably linked to our commitment to sustainability - on both a small and large scale," says Thomas A. Fischer, Managing Director Sales, Marketing & Service at Still.

Ideal conditions: Riverside and green areas
The Hamburg site in Billbrook offers ideal living conditions for bees all year round thanks to its riverside areas near the Bille. The bees forage for their food within a radius of up to five kilometers, so in future the "still bees" will be able to pollinate numerous trees and plants both along the nearby river and in the green spaces of the industrial area, making the district more ecologically diverse.
