The Traigo48 series includes a choice of three or four-wheel models in various designs and is optimally tailored to the requirements of a wide range of applications. The electric forklift trucks offer load capacities of 1.5 to 2.0 tons, lifting heights of up to 7.5 metres and a top speed of up to 20 km/h. This ensures maximum flexibility for indoor and outdoor use. This ensures maximum flexibility for indoor and outdoor use.

"As with the market launch of our last electric forklift models, including the Toyota Traigo24 and Traigo80, we remain true to our central principle: Kaizen - the continuous pursuit of improvement. This drive motivates us to always go one step further to meet the increasing demands of our customers. The next generation of Traigo48 forklifts impresses with its quality, durability and first-class performance - a real game changer. With state-of-the-art design, maximum comfort, energy efficiency and increased productivity, we are setting new standards in the market," explains Jose Maria Gener, Vice President Sales & Marketing at Toyota Material Handling Europe.

Flexible energy solutions for a wide range of applications

The Traigo48 series offers flexibility in terms of energy supply: In addition to classic lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries are also available. This allows customers to choose the optimum energy source for their individual operating processes while benefiting from maximum efficiency and economy. A special model in the new series is the Toyota Traigo_i - an electric forklift truck with an integrated lithium-ion battery. Among other things, this concept enables a space-saving design with additional foot space for the driver and therefore even greater driving comfort.

The Traigo_i also has something new to offer visually: Inspired by the shape of the katana sword, the dynamic lines of the frame and the cabin design emphasize the Toyota look. The Traigo_i was specifically developed for lithium-ion operation and has an integrated charging connection on the counterweight, which enables quick and easy intermediate charging. For the standard models with lead-acid battery, a side battery door and an open chassis enable efficient battery replacement.

Reduced energy consumption thanks to SyncoDrive technology

According to the company, the new Traigo48 series scores with high productivity and reduced energy consumption. The SyncoDrive technology developed by Toyota noticeably reduces energy consumption compared to the previous model and ensures efficiency and responsive handling. The use of IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) synchronous motors for the drive and modern control technology for fast lifting movements ensures reliable, smooth operation for all transport and stacking tasks.

For particularly demanding applications, the series can be optionally equipped with a performance package for lifting capacity to further increase productivity. Thanks to these technological advancements, energy consumption has been reduced by up to 18 percent compared to its predecessor.
