As part of the IFOY Test Camp, which took place in Dortmund on March 26 and 27, 2025, numerous manufacturers presented their innovations. The EFL 10T HV from EP Equipment was tested alongside other solutions nominated for the IFOY Award 2025, with all products undergoing a comprehensive three-stage IFOY audit. This includes an innovation test, practical tests and a final jury assessment. With a travel speed of up to 30 km/h and a lifting speed of up to 0.47 m/s, this high-voltage electric forklift truck offers efficiency in fast-paced environments.

Energy efficiency and sustainability

The EFL 10T HV combines lithium-ion technology with permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMS). According to the supplier, these two components contribute to 15 percent lower power consumption compared to conventional models. The truck's high-voltage battery has a service life of up to 4,000 cycles, which reduces operating costs while enabling longer operating times and shorter charging times. The model also has a quick-charging option, which reduces the charging time to just one hour.

The EFL 10T HV's lithium-ion battery enables emission-free operation and eliminates the risks associated with lead-acid batteries. It also reduces maintenance requirements, as the truck has up to 90 percent fewer moving parts than conventional diesel models.

Versatile in use

The EFL HV series is designed to be used effectively both indoors and outdoors. With an IPX4 protection rating, the EFL 10T HV offers protection against dust and water, while the high-voltage components with IP67 protection rating ensure durability in all weather conditions. The truck operates smoothly in a temperature range of -20 °C to 40 °C and is equipped with a battery heater as standard, ensuring efficient charging even in cold weather. With features such as improved gradeability and optional attachments for different charging speeds, the EFL 10T HV has been designed to meet the specific requirements of different industries. The EFL 10T HV is therefore suitable for a wide range of industries, including steel production, automotive manufacturing and construction. It can also be used for heavy-duty applications in ports, shipyards and concrete production.
