Jungheinrich: Award-winning material handling equipment
The Jungheinrich ECE horizontal order picker and the ERE electric pedestrian pallet truck have been awarded the coveted German Design Award in the Transportation category by the German Design Council. The jury of the German Design Council selected the Jungheinrich trucks from more than 5,000 submissions as groundbreaking in the international design landscape. The ECE horizontal order picker was recognized by the jury for its ergonomic design, which combines a robust construction with powerful performance. Jungheinrich set standards in this truck class with the often copied design of the ECE. The ERE pedestrian pallet truck was awarded for its combination of compact maneuverability with the comfort of a ride-on truck. It was designed as a modular system for individual customer adaptation and optimization to the respective application.
