Hibinger was previously COO of thyssenkrupp Systems Engineering. "We are delighted that we have been able to recruit such a professional in international plant engineering," says Philipp Hahn-Woernle, CEO of the viastore Group. "With his hands-on approach, he is a very good fit for us."

Thomas Hibinger, married and father of three children, began his career at plant manufacturer Eisenmann 16 years ago after studying mechanical engineering with a focus on production technology at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. After holding various positions there, including in the USA and China, he headed up global project management in the automotive sector and was most recently responsible for international sales in this area as Vice-President Sales before moving to thyssenkrupp System Engineering as COO.

According to the company, his goal is to align viastore Systems internationally even more closely with customer needs and to increase the competitive advantage of customers through efficient material flows in logistics and production. "As a family-run company, viastore offers excellent conditions for this: short decision-making processes, you can make a difference here and the team has a wealth of expertise," explains Hibinger.
