The viadat WMS manages and controls the processes of the entire intralogistics system, from goods receipt to production, assembly and dispatch. With viadat Vision, viastore software creates a supplement: it proactively recognizes where complications occur, notifies the user via push message and provides recommendations for action. It visualizes the storage system, production and material flows and identifies weak points using a detailed system analysis. This relieves the burden on employees as they no longer have to search for the problem themselves.

Furthermore, viastore Software will be focusing on the integration of logistics and production processes at its trade fair appearance. Thanks to the new standard interface, Viadat can be connected to common Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This paves the way to the smart factory, giving operators greater transparency and efficiently interlinked workflows. Both systems are equal partners, but use and generate different information. The MES knows what and how much which machine produces and which material is required when and where in production. The WMS knows where the required materials are stored and controls the supply and disposal of materials as well as transportation between the production lines. It knows the means of transportation, their characteristics and the topology of the plant and can therefore control the optimum routes and times for transporting goods.

At the trade fair, sister company viastore Systems will be showcasing its expertise in consulting, planning and building complete turnkey automated systems as well as modernizing existing systems. Using virtual and augmented reality, visitors can experience what such solutions look like - they can immerse themselves in the world of intralogistics and experience processes such as order picking or production supply in a realistic way. Visitors can also find out how intralogistics systems can be modernized and made fit for the future without restricting delivery capability, even during ongoing operations.
