Safety technology for automated warehouses
Euchner is bringing its complete solution for the safe and reliable operation of automated storage systems to the trade fair. Compact safety switches, multifunctional enabling switches, light grids, rope pull switches, emergency stop devices and more help users to reduce installation and downtimes and cut costs.
The highlight at the stand is the modular MGB2 Modular safety gate system combined with the CKS2 key system. Thanks to storage and retrieval machines and shuttles that move quickly through the aisles, automated warehouse systems enable efficient intralogistics. But behind the barriers, these machines pose an acute danger to the life and limb of employees. The MGB2 Modular safety gate system and the CKS2 key system reliably safeguard danger zones in automated warehouse systems and help to ensure that the system restarts quickly in the event of a standstill. The modular design of the MGB2 with standard components allows customized and cost-efficient applications with high flexibility in design and scaling. The bus module supports versatile communication with Profinet, EtherCAT (P) and EtherNet/IP.
The CKS2 enables fast and intuitive operation as well as safe and uncomplicated access to the aisles. Individual zones can be shut down for maintenance and repair work without having to stop the entire system. This increases the availability of the entire system.
