Utz: Award-winning solutions for home shopping and retail
Although home shopping is still a rather rare form of shopping in Germany, Georg Utz GmbH received the Gold Award from the pro K trade association for its Dollyfix picking and transport system. The Dollyfix transport system consists of interconnecting transport dollies on which nestable containers can be transported. The rollers are connected to each other via a rail and combined. The containers, which can be nested when empty, can be stacked on top of each other using fold-out plastic brackets. The ordered goods are not only picked in the boxes, but also delivered directly to the front door. Other companies in the globally represented Utz Group will also be showcasing home shopping solutions at LogiMAT. For example, plastic containers that can be rotated and stacked will be on display, into the upper edge of which plastic or paper bags containing the food to be transported can be hung. On delivery, only the bags are then handed over and the container is nested as empties and taken back.
