Automated warehouse logistics for greater flexibility and sustainability
The German intralogistics specialist will be presenting its sustainable, efficient technologies for warehouse automation in the packaging industry at the European Trade Fair for Packaging, Technology and Processes at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg from 28 to 30 September.
These include space-saving raw material and paper roll storage systems, automated intermediate storage systems for format goods for more cost-effective and flexible production, automated finished goods storage systems for logistics bundling and automated truck route provisioning. The focus is on the gentle handling of format and finished goods and the compact storage of bulky, heavy goods with and without load carriers.
Westfalia plans, implements and modernizes automated storage and logistics systems with its own storage and retrieval machines, its own conveyor technology including PLC control and warehouse execution software, IT infrastructure, support and service.
