ADAC truck service subsidiary opens up new business segment
Europe Net launches accident assistance for insurers
ADAC truck service subsidiary Europe Net is entering the accident assistance market. The new service is aimed at insurance companies and includes the recording of accident-related data directly at the scene of the accident, the organization of roadside assistance and legal advice. The pilot customer for the new service is the claims adjuster InterEurope AG, which specializes in international motor vehicle claims.
If policyholders have an accident, they receive on-site assistance via a central hotline. On weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., InterEurope organizes the accident assistance itself; outside business hours, on Sundays and public holidays or at peak times, trained service agents at Europe Net take over. Part of the new service: An interactive IT tool will be used to guide policyholders through the data collection process. The first step is to check whether people are injured. If this is not the case, agents will guide them step by step through the data collection process.
"For insurance companies, accident assistance has the advantage that they can offer their customers all additional services relating to an accident from a single source, 365 days a year and around the clock," emphasizes Dirk Fröhlich, Managing Director of ADAC Truckservice and Chairman of Europe Net.
"If an accident happens, people are often overwhelmed by the details. However, it is crucial that the most important questions are clarified on the spot. This benefits the interests of all parties involved, the settlement is more efficient and faster, the injured party receives the compensation to which they are entitled sooner and our customers' policyholders receive immediate assistance on site. We rely on Europe Net's experience and standards here because, as a quality provider, we can meet the high demands of our insurance customers," explains Holger Backu, CEO of InterEurope.
