Thermo King and Frigoblock want more ecological transportation solutions

Brussels, 30.08.2018 - Transport solution providers Thermo King and Frigoblock from Ingersoll Rand (Hall 27, Stand C05) are presenting their vision of the future of transportation in a city without smog, congestion and excessive noise pollution at the IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover.

At their joint stand A, Thermo King and Frigoblock will present new and existing products, forming a product portfolio for all diesel-powered and diesel-free transport refrigeration applications - from trucks and semi-trailers to delivery vehicles.

"Environmental sustainability has become one of the key objectives of legislation, resulting in exhaust emissions being regulated and noise being limited in densely populated areas. Hundreds of cities in Europe are restricting vehicle access and our customers want to improve the sustainability of their operations while making zero-emission transportation sustainable," says Pauli Johannesen, Vice President and General Manager of Thermo King for trucks, trailers and buses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Among other things, trade fair visitors can get an idea of Thermo King's first fully electric, battery-powered B-100 ECO transport refrigeration machine for smaller electric vehicles and new E-200 electric machines for vans and trucks under 3.5 tons . mm
