ADAC Truckservice expands digital breakdown prevention

Hanover, 27.08.2018 - ADAC Truckservice has announced the expansion of digital breakdown prevention at the IAA Commercial Vehicles (Hall 13, Stand E09). In future, tractor units can also be monitored in real time on a platform. This should reduce breakdowns due to engine damage, electrical or electronic faults and serious accidents caused by defective brakes and burning tires.

App for easier breakdown reporting
ADAC Truckservice is also presenting the prototype of a new TomTom breakdown assistance app at the IAA Commercial Vehicles. From October, TomTom Bridge partners will be able to integrate this app into fleet management solutions and drivers will be able to use it to report breakdowns directly from the TomTom navigation terminal. Visitors to the trade fair can also find out more about the Secure Truck Parking concept. This enables companies to make economical secondary use of their space on company premises and at the same time do something about the shortage of truck parking spaces.

ADAC Truckservice will also be showcasing its entire service portfolio, above all its mobility services for the commercial vehicle industry and fleet operators, as well as its recently developed modular fixed-price vehicle protection package for trucks, vans, semi-trailers, trailers and buses. The package includes the organizational costs for breakdown assistance in Europe and the deployment costs at the breakdown location for one year. mm
