Board position newly filled
Holger Kintscher strengthens VW Commercial Vehicles
Holger Kintscher will be the new Board Member for Finance and IT at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles from June. Kintscher is currently a member of the SEAT Board of Management, where he is responsible for Finance, IT and Organization.
Kintscher already held a similar position at VW Commercial Vehicles from 2000 to 2005 - as Head of Controlling and Accounting. Dr. Thomas Sedran, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand: "With Holger Kintscher, we have once again gained a competent and strong CFO with good judgment and a feel for the priorities in our commercial vehicle business. Exactly what we need now in this phase of our transformation." Kintscher succeeds Winfried Krause, who is leaving his position as CFO of VWN at his own request. Holger Kintscher began his professional career at Volkswagen AG in 1987. He held various positions there, including in the areas of education/training and controlling, and gained extensive expertise in various management positions. He has been Board Member for Finance, IT and Organization at Seat since April 2010.
