With the new packaging systems for maxi bags, the company is presenting solutions for packaging medium-sized and large products. Large spare parts or clothing can be securely packaged in bags with formats from 400 millimetres wide to 680 millimetres long. The APS Autobag 600 and 650 systems process up to 65 and 40 bags per minute respectively. According to the manufacturer, both systems can be easily integrated into packing stations and merchandise management systems. The machine design is kept simple with only a few moving parts, which reduces operating costs and improves reliability. On-board diagnostics and modular components simplify maintenance. APS's protective packaging sector, now directly integrated into Sealed Air, will showcase its enhanced AirPouch FastWrap range and Geo-Tech recycled film. The new machines now produce the patented honeycomb bubble wrap in widths of up to 800 millimeters. One carton of film produces 326 linear meters of bubble wrap.
