End-of-line solutions for global logistics

Mosca's leitmotif for Interpack is networked efficiency. The company is presenting innovations in the field of load securing. Integrated solutions that combine sustainability and Industry 4.0 are at the heart of the trade fair presentation.

According to the supplier, one of the focal points of this year's trade fair stand is the duo of the KZV-111 pallet strapping machine and the Luna A3 rotary arm stretch wrapper. This combination is intended to show how seamless process transitions optimize throughput times. The KZV-111 forms the basis for stability, while the Luna A3 wrapper provides the final protection against external influences. Thanks to the intelligent control system, both machines communicate directly with each other, which minimizes manual intervention and increases operational reliability. "The interaction between the strapping and wrapping process reduces material consumption while maximizing transport security," explains Alex Jesser, Technical Product Marketing employee.

Automation for fresh products

Through the strategic cooperation with Reisopack, Mosca is expanding its portfolio for specialized industries: The Reisopack 2905 horizontal strapping machine is specially designed for the fruit and vegetable industry. With an integrated vertical edge protection feeder, it stabilizes and protects sensitive goods during transport. These solutions are the result of close technical coordination in order to meet the high throughput rates in logistics centers for perishable goods. "Our aim is to find the right automated solution for every specific industry requirement," says Jesser.

Mosca presents the new Reisopack Fusion series for the first time. With an optimized colour scheme and four frame sizes, it expands the range of applications and enables optimum handling of different belt widths and packing dimensions.

Visitors to the trade fair can also experience the SoniXs P7-Connect B live. As the successor to the MP-6, it offers full connectivity thanks to the WebHMI interface. Performance data can be evaluated in real time via the digital interface, which forms the basis for optimized predictive maintenance. The integrated SoniXs ultrasonic welding system enables the processing of PP and paper tapes. Ultrasonic welding works without a heat-up phase and is therefore energy-efficient and emission-free.

Sustainability with HUG and recyclable strapping

For manual tasks, Mosca will be presenting the HUG manual strapping tool and the HUG+. Together with a chopper on display, the strapping experts will demonstrate how customers can immediately prepare strapping for the next recycling cycle - in keeping with the circular economy.

At the trade fair, Mosca will be showcasing the prototype of a new gray PP strapping that will be ready for the market in autumn. Designed for bundling and sealing, the strap consists of at least 35% post-consumer recycled material (PCR-PP). The fully recyclable strap is free from critical substances and combines regulatory compliance with maximum functionality for shipping and industry.

With this recycled content, it meets the future EU requirements for transport packaging of the PPWR (valid from August 2026). Secondly, it exceeds the 30% threshold for the Plastic Packaging Tax required for the United Kingdom (valid from April 2027).
