Martin Schrüfer,

Simply counted - securely packaged

Automated Packaging System (APS) now offers a new way to count small parts to be packaged simply, cost-effectively and yet with high precision. The combination of APS packaging machines and the "Nitpicker" from the Westphalian company Ing-D.B. GmbH (Hall 2, Stand B11) makes this possible. The system offers an innovative alternative to counting scales. The parts to be counted are distributed on an A3 light plate. It is part of a combination of specialized software, a mini PC (Windows), a 15.6" touch screen and an external industrial camera. The downstream APS packaging machine packs the defined number of items semi-automatically or fully automatically into suitable printed or unprinted Autobag bags. APS offers a variety of bag formats with different protection and film properties.
