According to the company, the fully automatic X7 packaging line from Packsize produces up to 1,200 ready-to-ship parcels in an hour for product consignments of different sizes.
Packsize presents the fully automated X7 packaging line in response to the ever-increasing demand for customized packaging, particularly in online retail. With the X7, Packsize aims to offer its customers a fast and highly flexible system for e-commerce order processing. Thanks to automation, retailers can also reduce labor-intensive steps in the packaging process and thus have an answer to the current labor shortage. A plus in terms of sustainability: the custom-fit production of the boxes reduces material consumption and helps to save volume. This allows retailers to directly reduce their ecological footprint. At present, retailers still normally ship around 40 percent air, but this could be significantly reduced with customized boxes.
