Dr. Christian Lau new Executive Vice President Manufacturing at Multivac
Since November 3, Dr. Christian Lau has been responsible for manufacturing at the Multivac Group as Executive Vice President Manufacturing. In this function, he will also be Managing Director of the subsidiaries Multivac Lechaschau and Multivac Bulgaria Production as well as Chairman of the Board of Multivac Taicang (China). Multivac is a provider of packaging solutions for all types of food, life science and healthcare products as well as industrial goods.
Dr. Lau has been with Multivac since July 2010, most recently as Executive Vice President of the Thermoforming Packaging Machines division. He studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and earned his doctorate in production engineering at the Technical University of Munich. "Multivac has always been characterized by a high level of in-house production depth in order to meet the requirements for the highest quality and innovation. This is why the Manufacturing division, with around 1,000 employees, is so important," explained Guido Spix, Managing Director at Multivac. "Dr. Lau will continue to drive forward our supply chain strategy in close cooperation with the product-leading business units for the benefit of our customers."
