Filling ships efficiently
The Beumer Group supplies loading and transportation solutions for different ship sizes. The modular design of the systems enables the intralogistics specialist to offer a precisely tailored solution for different requirements.
The right loading technology determines how effectively goods can be delivered to customers and in what quality they arrive there. BEUMER Group offers solutions for loading and unloading trucks, railroad wagons and even ships. The modular design of the systems makes it possible to find a tailor-made solution for every application. For ship loading, the system provider has quadrant ship loaders in its range, rail-mounted ship loaders with lifting and swiveling booms as well as simple, permanently mounted loading towers. All ship loader types can of course also be equipped with telescopic chutes.
Coarse bulk materials such as clinker or lumpy ores are loaded efficiently and dust-free into bulk freighters using belt conveyors and a vertical telescopic pipe. The loading machines are fully enclosed for loading dusty bulk materials. This ensures emission-free operation. For example, Beumer has installed a ship loader for one of the largest urea production plants in Malaysia, which picks up the bulk material from belt conveyors and uses it to load ships with up to 1,000 tons of material per hour. To enable effective and flexible loading, the ship loader travels on rails, is designed to swivel and is equipped with a telescopic chute and a sling belt conveyor.
