Eurogate Intermodal appoints Christopher Beplat as new Managing Director
Christopher Beplat (44) has been Managing Director at EUROGATE Intermodal (EGIM) together with Lars Hedderich and Thomas Meyer since June 1, 2020. He succeeds Thomas Meyer, who is retiring at the end of September and will gradually hand over the Operations, Operational Controlling and Purchasing departments, which he manages, to Christopher Beplat.
Christopher Beplat has many years of management experience in the industry. He was most recently Managing Director of Rhenus Inland Navigation Europe, NWL Norddeutsche Wasserweg Logistik GmbH and the EGIM subsidiary Trimodal Logistik GmbH. He completed his academic training with an MBA in Business Administration and Management at Newcastle University in England.
Thomas Meyer, Managing Director of EGIM, comments: "With Christopher Beplat, we are bringing on board a very experienced and highly competent expert with extensive experience and knowledge of the transport business.
