"Electrical technology on a new level"

Still presents the successor to the RX-60

Still presents the RX 60 electric forklift truck with a load capacity of 3.5 to 5.0 tons, the latest member of the RX 60 family. For the first time, customers who have to transport heavy loads, mainly indoors but also outdoors, can benefit from the electrifying advantages of the RX 60 series.

Within the series, customers can choose from seven different vehicle variants with a load center of 500 mm as standard or 600 mm on request. Both lead-acid batteries and lithium-ion technology are also available. A high-performance variant is available in all weight classes.

As early as 2019, an independent test confirmed that the little brother of the new series, the RX 60-25 with a load capacity of 2.5 tons, was at the top of the direct electric forklift competition and at the same time had a handling capacity and climbing ability on a par with a comparable diesel forklift. The drive concept has been transferred to the new RX 60 up to 5.0 tons. This is made possible by two encapsulated three-phase AC traction motors with active cooling in the front axle. The two 11 kW motors provide even more power in the high-performance version. They increase the traction motor output by 46 percent compared to its predecessor. Because both motors are driven even at full steering angle, the truck is maneuverable.

The RX 60 is 20 km/h fast, and thanks to the battery capacity of 930 Ah (59.5 kWh) or up to 118.4 kWh in the lithium-ion version of the RX 60-50, the truck can master two shifts in a row without intermediate charging. And when it's time to change the battery, the side battery door opens up new perspectives. The 4 mm thick steel door can now also be opened 180 degrees to the rear on the RX 60-35/50, and the battery can be changed by just one person using an electric pallet truck.
