Genkinger: Powerful reach truck scores with aluminum coils
The electric heavy-duty reach truck from Genkinger has a load capacity of 20 tons and a tare weight of 17 tons. By cleverly combining standard and series components, the company has developed a truck that meets exceptional requirements. The Vulkollan-tyred reach truck transports various load types and weights in the production facility of a large, international aluminum manufacturer: aluminum coils on special wooden pallets with diameters of 1,000 to 1,880 mm and weights of 5,000 to 10,700 kg as well as aluminum tube blocks measuring 3,600 mm x 2,200 mm x 595 mm. "A triplex lift mast with external cylinders including mast end position damping was installed to match the load capacities," explains Harald Harter, Sales Manager D/A/CH.
