Habasit: Pressure blanket for high elasticity
Habasit, a leading global supplier of power transmission, conveyor and processing belts, recently presented its latest conveyor and processing belts for the textile industry at two trade fairs. The company exhibited the PB-2481 printing blanket and the entire range of belts for the digital printing industry. The PB-2481 has a smooth, non-adhesive surface made of thermoplastic polyurethane and a tensile layer made of aramid fabric for high elasticity and excellent lateral stiffness. According to the company, the unique design enables significantly more precise positioning for textile printing processes. The antistatic material and the rigidity of the belt ensure extremely effective guidance, which is particularly useful for passive guides, according to the drive belt supplier. In addition to printing blankets, compensating belts, plastic modular belts and timing belts were also exhibited.
