Denipro: easychain complements deniway at Nestlé in Bavaria

The Swiss company Denipro AG is equipping the milk powder production facility at the Nestlé plant in Biessenhofen, Bavaria, with a highly flexible easychain conveyor. It complements a deniway system that has already been in operation there for several months. The long-established plant in Biessenhofen, where mainly "Bärenmarke" milk products were produced in the past, has been undergoing extensive expansion since 2009. The majority of production now consists of hypoallergenic infant formula (including "Alete"), milk powder, soups and sauces. Both Denipro systems fit into Nestlé's staggered expansion strategy: as an end-of-line solution in the area of packaging, they open up all possibilities for the world's largest food company at the site in the eastern Allgäu region, which specializes in dairy products and baby food, to make optimum use of the palletizing station. The easychain line is scheduled to go into operation at the end of February 2017.
