Clean - and always on track thanks to Flexco
Do conveyor belt systems meet the required standards and can processes even be improved? At bauma 2016, Flexco GmbH showcased innovative solutions that enable operators to eliminate the four main causes of potential problems - material carryback, belt misalignment, material loss and belt slippage
or avoid them from the outset. This allows the operator to significantly increase the productivity of their system. One of the innovative developments is the FMS secondary stripper. It is suitable for medium-duty applications. While a head scraper removes the coarse material, the FMS takes care of the fine cleaning. This increases the cleaning effect of the conveyor belt scrapers, which in many cases can remove more than 90 percent of the carryback. An important step in preventing material loss is to correct the guidance of the conveyor belt. Flexco offers various belt centering systems for these cases. These detect misalignment and realign the belt correctly. Flexco will be showing the PT Pro Belt Trainer for this purpose.
