Gilgen Logistics opens development center

Gilgen Logistics is expanding its existing team and opening a development center for storage and retrieval machines in the Stuttgart area. A new team has been set up under the leadership of specialist Thomas Riffert. Gilgen is thus strengthening its core competence in automated high-bay warehouses and aims to further expand its position in the international market as a specialist in intralogistics and conveyor technology.

The Swiss general contractor for intralogistics is widely represented with its systems in a wide range of national and international industries. "We are convinced that this step will enable us to continue to grow in the market," explains Daniel Gilgen, Head of Systems Business and Deputy CEO, adding "we want to drive forward our core competencies and keep up with the latest developments in technology so that our products become even more efficient and better. We invest a lot in this".
