Minitec: New features for WF 3000 bowl feeder
The WF 3000 bowl feeder from MiniTec conveys goods over levels and also serves as a buffer in production. It was designed to be economical for use in the smallest of spaces. The use of high-quality components means that it is virtually maintenance-free. With the latest version, the material flow can be upwards, downwards, reversible or intermittent, which opens up further application possibilities. The bowl feeder is based on the MiniTec modular principle and is compatible with the German manufacturer's conveyor technology solutions.
Not over hill and dale, but over distances, levels and different climate zones, conveyor systems transport a wide variety of goods in industry. The material flow solutions here not only have to adapt to the goods being conveyed, but also to the spatial and economic conditions of the companies. MiniTec offers the powerful yet compact WF 3000 spiral conveyor to supplement its material flow solutions for such challenges: More than 50 meters of conveying distance on a footprint of less than three square meters can be achieved with the spiral conveyor. This enables the buffering of numerous transport goods in production as well as overcoming height differences of up to three meters in halls or production facilities.
The further development of the bowl feeder for reversing operation has opened up new application possibilities: The material flow in the latest version of the bowl feeder can be upwards or downwards, reversible or intermittent with an infinitely variable speed of 5 to 50 m/min. The tower is designed for a load of up to 20 kg/m conveyor section and a total load of 300 kg.
