Trade fair organizer gets serious
March becomes June - LogiMAT 2021 postponed
Due to the current corona situation, the LogiMAT trade fair will be "postponed from March to early summer 2021 as a precautionary measure", reports the organizer Euroexpo.
According to the company, this is a preventative measure and will give exhibitors and partners the necessary planning security in good time. According to current planning, LogiMAT 2021 will take place at Messe Stuttgart from June 22 to 24, 2021.
Due to the hygiene concept of the organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH and Landesmesse Stuttgart, nothing would stand in the way of holding the event at the trade fair grounds with their ultra-modern and very functional architecture. However, the figures currently communicated by the Robert Koch Institute do not provide the necessary certainty regarding the possibility of participation from abroad to confidently proceed with the final planning for March 2021, writes the organizer.
"The safety standards at the Stuttgart exhibition center are excellent. The ventilation system meets all specifications and the other high hygiene requirements could also be met without any problems. In this respect, nothing stood in the way of holding the trade fair in March 2021," explains Michael Ruchty, Exhibition Director responsible for LogiMAT Stuttgart. "LogiMAT particularly thrives on its internationality. However, it is currently impossible to assess the extent to which the current entry restrictions will still apply in March 2021. These will have an impact on the expected internationality of the trade fair as a whole. This is one of the main reasons for this timely decision."
If the organizer has its way, "LogiMAT will take place in March again from 2022".
