IFOY nomination
Geek+ certified as "Best of Intralogistics 2020"
Geek+ Robotics, provider of robotics and AI technologies in intralogistics, has been named "Best of Intralogistics 2020" and nominated for the prestigious IFOY Award 2020.
Geek+ was selected for its RoboShuttle System C200, an automated picking and transport system for containers controlled by artificial intelligence, which can also be used in multi-storey warehouses.
The C200 robots identify and pick standard-sized containers and transport them to the work stations for picking and packing. The system features intelligent, self-learning route planning, accurate navigation and automatic loading. It is suitable for multi-SKU storage and picking applications and is designed to operate in single-level racking and multi-level mezzanine racking. dDe C200 robots fit into existing warehouses, with the flexibility to add or remove robots, the system is easily adaptable to changes in workload.
Jackson Zhang, Managing Director of Geek+ Europe, is delighted with the award: "We are proud that our expertise in automated logistics has been recognized as the most innovative of the year. This achievement underlines our efforts and commitment to delivering high-tech, highly efficient and flexible robotic systems to our customers. We want to continue to be at the forefront of the intelligent logistics revolution, moving the world intelligently for our customers in Europe and around the world".
The engineers from Geek+ used the RoboShuttle system in live operation during the IFOY test days in Hanover. The "Innovative Check" was carried out during the test days by specialists from the Dortmund Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML), the Chair of Technical Logistics at the University of Dresden and the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow and Logistics at the Technical University of Munich.
