LogiMAT 2023
Fetra presents new directional locking device
At a new location, but as usual with innovative and proven intralogistics solutions in its luggage, transport equipment manufacturer fetra is once again exhibiting at the Stuttgart trade fair
LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart. In Hall 3, Stand 3A07, from April 25 to 27, the Borgholzhausen-based company will be presenting a wide range of products, from order picking trolleys and box trolleys to trolleys for tugger trains.
Agile or stable on the track
The focus of the trade fair presentation is the newly developed fetra Fixstop directional locking device, which offers users maximum flexibility: Instead of the standard two fixed castors on all trolleys, the directional locking device offers the option of deciding between maneuverability or track stability at short notice, depending on the application. The user can activate the function from any long side with just one footstep and thus determine whether the trolley should run on four swivel castors or whether two swivel castors and two fixed castors are required.
Trade visitors can see this for themselves at the fetra trade fair stand, where the experts will be demonstrating the function of the directional locking device on a small model of the galvanized order picking trolley, in this case equipped with a drawbar, coupling, fetra Fixstop and handles for lateral movement. The fixed castor function is used when several trolleys are moving together. After uncoupling, users can switch to four swivel castors and move the trolley crosswise.
The galvanized order picking trolley is also in the trade fair luggage and is equipped with an extensive range of accessories. Designed as a modular system, the trolley can be modified in many ways thanks to the fetra plug and screw principle, for example with a document box made of galvanized sheet steel, a notebook holder and a bottle holder.
Visitors to the trade fair can also find out about the benefits of the material stands, which are available in different heights and versions. They enable ergonomic working, for example in assembly operations, and are also available in an electrically conductive version in addition to the standard blue color. fetra will also be demonstrating the benefits of the mobile desks at the trade fair stand in Stuttgart. These have been used successfully in production plants and workshops for many years.
