Lutz Group and Wemag
fetra appoints two more competence partners
Transport equipment manufacturer fetra has added two more companies to its nationwide competence partner program: the Lutz Group, based in Gersthofen, Bavaria, and the Fulda-based tool expert Wemag.
"We have been working closely with both the Lutz Group and Wemag for decades, now spanning two generations, which we are officially recognizing by being named a competence partner," says Markus Rehm, Head of Sales DACH at fetra.
partner," says Markus Rehm, fetra Sales Manager DACH, who presented the awards to the managing directors of the respective companies. He emphasizes: "The certification of our specialist dealers improves the quality of advice and gives them a market advantage over the competition."
Strengthening the expertise of specialist dealers both digitally and on site and providing them with good sales arguments - these were the core objectives behind fetra's launch of the competence partner concept in 2009. There are now 60 companies across Germany that benefit from the numerous advantages of the program, such as special sales campaigns and product training at the in-house competence center.
Working in partnership
The decision to certify two more companies, the Lutz Group and Wemag, was an obvious one for the Borgholzhausen-based transport equipment manufacturer. Wemag is a steadily growing trading company in the tool industry that was founded in 1936 and has since grown to five locations in Germany and 190 employees. The Lutz Group, which has been owner-managed since 1946 and specializes in a diverse range of goods from tools to industrial safety equipment and factory equipment, can also look back on a long history of success with five German branches.
"Both groups of companies have developed very well and we have been working with them loyally and in partnership for many years. We are therefore a very good fit in all areas, with the focus clearly on quality, expertise and service," says Markus Rehm, explaining the decision.
"This step makes sense for both companies in order to continue to grow together," says Lukas Schmölz, Team Leader Product Management at the Lutz Group. He is convinced that this will not only strengthen the "Lutz" brand itself, but also "the expertise of our trading company and our vision 'Lutz - for high-performance businesses' in the long term." Leander Wrana, specialist consultant for factory equipment at Wemag, has a similar view. "We are honored and proud to be able to offer our customers added service and expertise," he emphasizes. In addition to the quality of fetra products, Schmölz and Wrana appreciate the competent and
advice from the manufacturer, the simple and clear ordering processes and the well-prepared article and image database.
Quality inspection
Both companies have been selling the hand-guided transport devices for many years and also use them for their own internal logistics. As a result, they have first-hand knowledge of their benefits, quality and application features. "The fetra devices are of very high quality and enable fast, ergonomic and safe transportation. They simplify the work processes of our employees and improve our productivity," is Lukas Schmölz's positive verdict. The assessment from Wemag is similar. The company uses fetra products primarily in the logistics center and in the retail store and has had consistently good experiences with them. Leander Wrana: "The devices are ergonomic, robust and easy on the back."
These benefits are also appreciated by customers, who, according to Leander Wrana, "have virtually no complaints." With the inclusion in the competence partner concept, the Lutz Group and Wemag now have another strong sales argument, which they will communicate with various measures on various channels. "The competence partner makes a clear commitment to fetra and identifies itself as a competence partner in its sales activities as well as in its exhibition, online presence, etc.," says Markus Rehm, explaining the conditions that certified retail partners must meet.
conditions that certified specialist retail partners must fulfill.
Their contact details are also available on the fetra website. Using the search function via zip code, customers can quickly and easily find a trained specialist dealer in their area. "The aim is for the certified specialist dealers to become trained professionals for the sale of transport equipment and to position themselves as specialists for
equipment," says Markus Rehm.
